024 - A4 Mounted/Framed Print - PzKpfW VI Ausf B - Tiger II

As already mentioned, alongside the development of Panther the plans were on to build the next generation of Tiger tank. You only have to look at the Tiger II or 'King Tiger' as it was also known, to see shared features of Panther but, on a much much grander scale. This behemoth was almost impervious to anything the allies could field against it. But like Panther, over engineered and sharing many features with it's Tiger 1 predecessor including the same engine also fitted in Panther but, Tiger 2 weighed almost 70 tons which, put immense pressure on the automotive systems designed for lighter vehicles.

But, still that deadly accurate 88mm main armament was feared by the enemy. Attrition would force Germany's defeat ultimately as it simply couldn't sustain the cost of fighting a war on all fronts.

This signed print is supplied as an, A4 sized, mounted and framed product - shipped in a protective cardboard shipper. The frame has a high quality styrene glass sheet which will require the protective cello sheet removing before you hang the picture. The price stated includes UK 1st class postage.
