16/11/23 - NEW UPDATED SKETCH:

Coming much more into the Cold war era let's return to the UK.

In the late 60's a British Army requirement led to the designing of a family of armoured vehicles sharing many common components which spawned the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) group of 7 vehicles manufactured by Alvis with Scorpion entering service in 1973.

The Scorpion is the version for Fire support with its potent 76mm gun. A potent weapon for a vehicle which holds the fastest recorded speed for a production tank at 51.10 mph or 82.23 kmh powered by its Jaguar engine. Very fast and again, with the help of the transfer lever in the transmission just as fast in reverse.

A fantastic vehicle in the role for which it was designed, small, fast and with a potent weapon capable of taking on AFVs much bigger than itself in a fire fight. My new picture depicts a 'Scorp' as it travels at speed across the German 'Cold war' terrain.

This signed print is supplied as an, A4 sized, mounted and framed product - shipped in a protective cardboard shipper. The frame has a high quality styrene glass sheet which will require the protective cello sheet removing before you hang the picture. The price stated includes UK 1st class postage.

If you live outside the UK and would like to place an order then please message me through the contact page and I'll be in touch with details as quickly as possible.
