Staying with Armoured Engineers the Royal Engineers - were also equipped with the Chieftain Armoured Vehicle 'Laying, Bridge'. This print depicts the Chieftain AVLB with its bridge being extended as it lays it across an obstacle requiring an 'instant' bridge in order to cross over safely to the far side.
